On Tuesday night, the all-Swedish Champions Hockey League Final took place in Gothenburg. Hosts Frölunda Gothenburg claimed a 3–2 overtime victory over Luleå Hockey, capturing their fifth CHL title. EC Red Bull Salzburg celebrated a 4–1 home victory over Eisbären Berlin in the Champions Hockey League on Wednesday. With three goals in the middle frame, the defending win2day ICE Hockey League champion laid the foundation for success and secured a spot in the CHL Round of 16, where they will face German side Ingolstadt from the DEL.

EC-KAC, on the other hand, missed out on advancing to the next round after a 1–3 defeat on the road against Finnish champions KalPa Kuopio. Read more
HCB Südtirol Alperia had to settle for a narrow 2–3 overtime loss against Luleå Hockey in their final game of the Champions Hockey League league phase, thus missing out on the playoffs. The goals for Bolzano came from Matt Bradley on the power play and Cole Schneider, who scored 97 seconds before the end of regulation time. Read more
On Tuesday and Wednesday, the sixth and final matchday of the Champions Hockey League league phase takes place. Currently, all three teams from the win2day ICE Hockey League – EC Red Bull Salzburg, EC-KAC, and HCB Südtirol Alperia – still have a chance to advance to the Round of 16. However, it is also possible that none of the ICE teams will make it to the knockout stage. Read more
