This weekend, the new European Women’s Hockey League champion will be crowned. Just like last season, defending champions Aisulu Almaty and the Sabres St. Pölten will face off in the final. Last year, the Kazakh side came out on top in a two-legged final, needing overtime to secure the title. This year, the first leg will take place on Friday in Kapfenberg, while the return leg follows on Sunday in St. Pölten and will be broadcast live on Sporteurope.tv.
