This season, the Alps Hockey League has delivered a perfect mix of excitement, competitiveness, and offensive spectacle. The level of play has been exceptionally high, with all teams securing at least ten wins so far—meaning they have won nearly one-third of their games. Notably, 129 out of the 224 games played so far have been decided by just one or two goals, ensuring nail-biting finishes in almost 60% of all matchups. Additionally, 43 games have gone to overtime or a shootout. Fan interest remains strong, with more than 1,000 spectators attending 46 games this season. Twelve active clubs are now looking to continue this successful path into the 2025/26 season—including S.G. Cortina Hafro, which faces a unique challenge regarding venue availability due to the Olympic Games.

Marcello Cobelli, Chairman of the AHL Board of Governors, stated: “The high number of registrations shows that the league is well-prepared for the future, even in challenging times. The strong level of competition, balance among teams, and positive developments in attendance numbers highlight the Alps Hockey League’s significance for the participating nations. The league organization, in coordination with the Board of Governors, will now begin the detailed planning for the league’s tenth season. Our goal is to continuously develop the AHL alongside the clubs in an ever-evolving environment.”
