1. HDD SIJ Acroni Jesenice is the only not Italian team in the round of the last Four. How do you feel in the role as the challenger?
“I think, that the role as challenger quite responds us. Nobody likes to be in the role of the favorite, because from the favorites it is always expected something more. Therefore, we could be a little more relaxed as we are in the role of the challenger, but anyway we will play the best we can. We will fight until the end and we try to play the way it suits us. We would like to outplay the opponent and impose them our game.”

2. What do you expect for the semifinals against Asiago? What can you take out of the first four clashes against the Italian team for the semifinal-series?
“I expect some very hard and tough matches, as well as equal series. We wish to end it with victories as soon as possible. Asiago is a great team, which they have shown through the championship, especially in the last difficult matches. We all know that it will not be easy and it should not be easy, as we are in playoffs.”

3. What are the strength of your team and what are the strength of Asiago?
“Asiago has some excellent, experienced players in their team who can play the playoff, they can monitor the progress of the match and make a move over to hit to win. We are a different team: We play four attacks, we are physically well prepared and fast skaters. We will try to take advantage of our aces in the match, tired the opponent and reach as many hits possible.”

4. You have a one week break between your last Quarterfinal game at Lustenau and the first semifinals at Asiago, the Italians even ten days. What did you do to stay in game-rhythm. Can it be an advantage you had a fourth game at Lustenau, that you won 5:0, while Asiago played just three Quarterfinals?
“I think in this part of the season it is better to play more games. So, you can stay in rhythm and you don’t lose focus, that you need in matches. At this moment, it would not be difficult to proceed in the rhythm, which was played in quarter-finals. In the meantime, we played two matches in quarter finals of Slovenian national championship and so we maintain a competitive tact."

5. You have a big support from your fans. Can they make the difference, when Jesenice is playing at home?
"This is our great advantage. Recently we have really strong support from the stands. I think any club in the league does not have such support at home games. This is our big plus and we really want to play as many matches possible in our Hall in front of our audience. The encouragement from the stands give us an additional charge, a lot of energy, when we are tired. The audience is also an additional charge, all together we think only on one thing and this is our victory!”
