In the fifth playoff game, Asiago suffered the first defeat in Jesenice. What do you think about yesterday's match?
„Our aim was to win at Jesenice and not to go there again, but we had a bad start into the match and outplayed our strength not before the last period. We even got the lead then late in period 3, so it hurts us even more, that we lost semifinals game number 2 at Jesenice!"

Your team scored four goals in semifinals game number 2 at Jesenice. Should this normally be enough to win on the road!?
"For sure, but both teams made several mistakes and that‘s the reason why ten goals were scored. We also took to many penalties this time. We will analyze the game now on the video and we will try to avoid the mistakes next time!“

Asiago and Jesenice played some thrilling games already earlier in the season. What makes the Slovenian team dangerous?
„Jesenice is a good team, especially in Power Play the Red Steelers play technically strong. And when they see a chance, they play one level higher. Then they also get their confidence back and get an extra boost and then it is difficult for each opponent."

The series continues now on Saturday best of three at Asiago. Already an very important game!?
„We will try everything to win the next two games. Now it is important to take advantage from the home-advantage first with the help from our fans, who always support us. But we also have to take attention, because the Slovenians will be better prepared for sure than in game 1. But when we play in our system and fight, then the Red Steelers will have a difficult task here in Italy again!“

During your career you also played at Cortina and Ritten. Do you also follow the second semifinals in Sky Alps Hockey League?
"Yes, I also follow the second series. I still know some players from both teams best. It is also an interesting and thrilling series."
