What do you think of the Alps Sky Hockey League?
"It is a nice idea. The ability to build teams through the sistem of points is very important and has allowed to give more space to young player. Even the high number of participating teams definitely helps to increase the interest. The breakthrough could be given by the insertion of foreign players of high quality that would help to increase the general level and above all that of the young players. This, according to my point of view, will be one of the crucial aspects for the growth of this tournament."

Now we can see the teams that are facing the final. What do you think of Rittner Buam?
"It is a very solid and united team, playing four lines and has a constant rythm throughout the whole game. Their game is clean and simple and their simpleness in their key best weapon. The Rittner Buam has an excellent goalkeeper, a great defensive captain, Christian Borgatello, and a homogeneous attack at least in the first three lines despite their diversity. It is a young team but has already accumulated a lot of experience having already won three league titles in the last four years."

What can you tell about Asiago?
"Asiago has a lot of individuality that can decide a match at any time. Maybe technically they are a bit higher compared to the opponents but often the yellow-red play with three lines and this could be important. The team has also an excellent fourth line but often it is not used. Some members of the team are a bit tired after a long season but potentially Asiago has all the credentialsto win."

How do you see the trend of upcoming games of the Final?
"I assume it can be a very long series. The Ritten remains of course the favorite but Asiago in Game 3 proved that can make the victory also in Klobstein. The last victory of Rittner Buam was reached because of a single episode but the Asiago was repeatedlyalmost in advantage when the results was 0:0. The field factor becomes crucial because Ritten is uncatchable in the Arena Ritten but also the Asiago is stronger when they play in Odegar. Asiago has the obligation to win Game 4 in order to avoid to complicate their lives. It will be a balanced final where probably it will make the difference who is making less mistakes."

What is the difference between the final two years ago, where you played, and this final of the Alps?
"The playoffs are always followed because they provide much entertainment. In this final of the Sky Alps Hockey League I find the referees a bit too much strict, and that limits a bit the players. This sport is changing a lot in recent years but the physical component should in my view still be one of the basic ingredients. It is correct to punish certain types of fouls but on the other hand, at least in these last games, it would be nice to add a bit of the “old” hockey".
