You scored the game winning goal in „last second“. Tell us about the decisive goal and the comeback in the third period.
We were trailing by two goals after the second period. We knew, that we have to give everything to not end the season. The first goal in the third period gave us a boost in energy. Jesenice started to become nervous and made some mistakes, we capitalized on that. The game winning goal was quite lucky, Gatis Gricinskis looked for the finish, I deflected the shot and the puck found the way into the goal through the legs of Rok Stojanovic.

The series standings is 2:1 for Jesenice right now. On Saturday the series returns to Lustenau. What is still possible and what could be the key to success for Lustenau?
In this series is still everything possible. Jesenice planned to qualify for the semi-finals in the last game, they didn’t expect to come back to Lustenau. We have to keep on working hard and to be stable in defense. We will do everything to force a decisive game in Jesenice, we will see if we succeed.

The following games are do-or-die games. Are these the situations you work for the whole season? Are there any differences in game preparations to other games?
At the end, it is game like any other. Of course, the intensity in playoffs is a bit higher, than in regular season, but I don’t think that it is god to chance anything in your preparation or in mind set before these games.  The risk could be, that you are too cramped and not in your common rhythm anymore. As a player you have to deliver the best performance during your time on the ice. We are not allowed to let too much pressure to come up. We need to stay cool.

You are one of the best scorer in your team. How do you see yourself your role in the team?
The most important thing for me, is to do my job on the ice defensively. The offensive moves are coming from alone. The crucial thing is to deliver the things which the coach requests from you as good as possible. As a more experienced player I try to share my experience with the young players and to act as an example.

You are one of the experienced players. Which objectives to you still have?
As a player you always want to win titles. But my main objective is to have the possibility to play as long as I’m able to. Hockey is my big passion and I want to keep it also in my life after my active career.
