The Moser Medical Graz99ers made another move on the transfer market and signed ex-NHL-crack Michael Latta. The 29-year-old Canadian played for Färjestad BK in the SHL.

Michael Latta is already in Graz and will start training with the team soon. With the 29-year-old Canadian, the Graz99ers sign an ex-NHL crack for the decisive phase of the championship. He played 117 times for the Washington Capitals, scoring 4 goals and 13 assists. The center also impressed with his qualities in the AHL. Latta played 320 games for the Milwaukee Admirals, the Hershey Bears and the Binghamton Devils, scoring 52 goals and 102 assists for an average of 0.49 points per game. After his stint in the KHL with Kunlun, Michael Latta last played in the SHL for Färjestad BK.

"Latta is a power forward who has a lot of energy. He is strong in two fights, plays very physically and likes to go towards the goal. He is also a real team player," says Jens Gustafsson.
