Kevin Roy of HC TIWAG Innsbruck - Die Haie immortalized himself in the history books of the win2day ICE Hockey League on Friday: In the 4:3 home win over EC Red Bull Salzburg, his four goals after 24 minutes and 58 seconds gave the "Sharks" a 4:0 lead - never before has a player celebrated a four-goal haul at an earlier point in an encounter. Roy is also only the second player to score four goals in a row.

Since the 2000/01 season, only 44 players have managed to score four or more goals in a game. And only two cracks scored the goals in a row - in other words, one after the other, without another player scoring. Innsbruck's Kevin Roy and former spusu Vienna Capitals forward Taylor Vause. He achieved this feat in 2018 in a game against Zagreb, completing his four-pack in the 27th minute. It took him just 9 minutes and 55 seconds - an absolute record for the fastest four-pack in the win2day ICE Hockey League. Roy was 13 minutes and 18 seconds off the pace.
