EHC Alge Elastic Lustenau and Sportivi Ghiacchio Cortina Hafro will open an intense hockey-week on Tuesday. The two teams showed different faces latley: Lustenau was on Fire lately: The „Lions“ won their last three games and scored 17 goals! The Italians on the other side had problems lately: Cortina was defeated three times in a row and made just four goals in this games. So far all (three) clashes ended with home-wins. The Italians won the first season-meeting 5:3.

Besides with HDD SIJ Acroni Jesenice and Rittner Buam the best offensiv and the best defensive clubs face each other. The Slovenes collected so far 44 points (15 wins) from 19 games and reached a goal-score of 79:38. Latley the „Red Steelers“ were really on Fire, the Slovenes won their last three games and scored 21 goals! The Rittner Buam on the other side collected so far 42 points (15 wins) from 18 games and reached a goal-score of 75:33. The Italians on the other side got just one win from their last three games, inter alia the Rittner Buam lost their last two road-games. But take attention: The Italians won the first season-clash at the beginning of this month at home 5:2. The winner of the top-clash will be on the top of the Alps Hockey League.
Wed, 29.11.2017: Red Bull Hockey Juniors – FBI VEU Feldkirch (19:15)

The last Austrian clash in November is played between Red Bull Hockey Juniors and FBI VEU Feldkirch. The Mozart Citizens make their first Alps Hockey League-game since November 5th 2017. The last three weeks the Salzburger spent in Finland. Before the Red Bulls celebrated six wins in a row in Austrias second highest League. But take attention: The FBI VEU Feldkirch is the best Austrian club. The „Vorarlberger“ are seventh with 33 points (eleven wins) from 18 games. The west-Austrians also had a good run lately, which ended on Saturday at Asiago (0:3). Salzburg is ranked on place 13 with 22 points (eight wins) from 14 games. The last four meetings between Salzburg and Feldkirch ended with home-wins. At the beginning of this season VEU was successful at home 3:1.

With HK SZ Olimpija and Migross Supermercati Asiago Hockey 1935 two neighbours in the standing will face on Wednesday at Hala Tivoli. The Slovenes are Fourth, collected so far 35 points (twelve wins) from 19 games. The Italians are third, they got 39 points (13 wins) from 18 games. The Slovenes played strong at home lately: The Dragons won their last three home-games, twice they even celebrated a Shut Out win. The Italians travel with much confidence to Ljubljana. The „Yellow-Reds“ won their last three games. In the last round the Vice-Champion celebrated - same as Olimpija did – a Shut out win. HK SZ Olimpija won the first clash of this teams at the beginning of this month at Asiago 4:3.

EC „Die Adler“ Stadtwerke Kitzbühel welcomes HC Fassa Falcons on Wednesday. The two clubs had nearly the same performance lately, both celebrated just one win in the last six rounds. Lately both teams stayed without points: The Tyroleans lost at Bruneck 1:2, while the Italians were defeated by Neumarkt 4:7 and Lustenau 0:4. The Falcons try to end their bad road-run on Wednesday at Kitzbühel. Lately the Italians lost four road-games in a row. All meetings between Kitzbühel and Fassa ended so far with home-wins, inter alia the Falcons won the first season-clash with the Eagles 2:1 after Shoot Out.

HC Pustertal Wolves welcomes EC Bregenzerwald on Wednesday. The Wolves played strong at home lately! The Italians collected points from the last six home-games (four wins) and convinced also in the defense. In their last six-home-games the wolves received totally just eight goals. EC Bregenzerwald also convinced at home lately (five wins in a row), but had problems on the road: The „Wälder“ lost their last three road-games. The Austrians won the first season-meeting at home 4:2.

After loosing some games HC Gherdeina valgardena.it and EK Zeller Eisbären returned on the winning-street lately. The Italians were on Fire against EC-KAC II and won 8:2. The Austrians sursprised against Champion Rittner Buam, won 3:1. Both teams want to stay on the winning-street now, but two wins in row both clubs could not celebrate for a while! Last time the Italians got two wins in a row was middle of February 2017. The Austrians managed this in round 5 on September 24th. Five times the two teams faced so far, all clashes ended with home-wins. EK Zeller Eisbären won the first season-meeting at home 3:0.
Thu, 30.11.2017: HC Neumarkt Riwega – WSV Sterzing Broncos Weihenstephan (20:00)

With the Italian clash HC Neumarkt Riwega vs. WSV Sterzing Broncos Weihenstephan the month November comes to an end on Thursday. The “wild-geese“ had their best moments lately. After celebrating just three wins in the first 16 games, Neumarkt got three wins in a row lately. Nevertheless HCN had a good run lately, the club is ranked with 15 points (six wins) from 19 games just on place 15. WSV Sterzing Broncos Weihenstephan on the other side is much better placed (place 6), but the team of Ivo Jan had problems lately: For the first time this season the Broncos did not get points two games in a row. In the last four meetings between Neumarkt and Sterzing the home-team left the ice as the winner. The Broncos are without a win at Neumarkt since February 17th 2015 or 1.014 days.
Fri, 01.12.2017: EC Bregenzerwald – HK SZ Olimpija (Dornbirn, 19:30)

The month December starts on Friday with the game EC Bregenzerwald vs. HK SZ Olimpija. For both teams it will be the second match with-in 48 hours. The Austrians played strong at home in the last weeks: The „Wälder“ won their last five home-games and received a goal-score of 23:10. Besides the west-Austrians were successful in the first season-clash, they won at Hala Tivoli 2:1 after Overtime. On Friday HK SZ Olimpija arrives for the first time in Alps Hockey League at Dornbirn. The Slovenes lost their last road-game (at Fassa).
