AHL Teams still active on the market

The second Alps Hockey League season is already around corner and the teams are still active on the transfer market. The VEU Feldkirch signed Marcel Witting from EHC Lustenau. Also the coach’s bench of Feldkirch is getting some boost. Markus Frankenberger will be new Assistant Coach on the side of Michael Lampert. Asiago Hockey relies on proofed quality and extends Davide Dal Sasso and Davide Conci. SG Cortina Hafro succeeded with a transfer-coup and signed Neil Manning of the Fassa Falcons. The Falcons managed to extend Sebastiano Soracreppa.

Marcel Witting comes to Feldkirch
The FBI VEU Feldkirch signed Marcel Witting, who played for the EHC Lustenau in the past season. The 21-years old absolved his youth development at the KAC. For Lustenau he played 43 games and scored 12 points. VEU head coach Michael Lampert is convinced about the quality of his new player. “Marcel will strengthen our offense. He will collect important experience for a good development.” 

VEU Coach staff with new boost
The head coach of FBI VEU Feldkirch, Michael Lampert, gets support. Markus Frankenberger will be the new Assistant Coch of the team and the right hand of Lampert. Frankenberger played his whole youth time for the VEU, before he left to Australia as a coach.
 
Cortina signs Neil Manning
One of the best defenders of past season is changing to Cortina. The Canadian Neil Manning is a well skilled defender, who scored in his first Alps Hockey League season 34 points.

Asiago and Fassa with contract extensions 
The two Youngsters Davide Dal Sasso and Davide Conci will be players at Asiago Hockey 1935 Srl also 2017/18. Both young Forwards convinced in their first Alps Hockey League-season, 20 y/o Dal Sasso scored eleven points (5G/6A) from 48 games for the Vice-Champion and 21 y/o Conci made 16 points (5G/11A) from 53 games. 

Youngster Sebastiano Soracreppa stays at Fassa Falcons - Ice Hockey. The 17 y/o Italian, who can play in the offense and in the defense, made last season 36 games for the Falcons in the Alps Hockey League and scored one Assist. Fassa also relies on the proven quality of Dennis Kustatscher, Ivan Lauton, Nik Trottner and Michele Lazzer and extended the contracts. They also announced the Comeback of Davide Schiavone und Paul De Simone.
