AHL top-scorer Pance stays in Jesenice

During the past week Alps Hockey League runner-up HDD SIJ Acroni Jesenice has announced the contract extension of league’s top-scorer Eric Pance and two further roster updates, while EK Die Zeller Eisbären hired Patrick Kittinger and HC Meran/o’s captain Luca Ansoldi staying put for the upcoming campaign.

Eric Pance continues to play for HDD SIJ Acroni Jesenice. For the 31-year-old it will be the second season in a row with the Slovenians and in total the fourth. With 81 points (26G|55A) the left wing was the league´s top-scorer past season. Moreover, Jesenice has presented Aljoša Pretnar as their first new arrival. The 19-year-old played in the U20 team of German side ESV Kaufbeuren for the past three years. Last season, the defender also took part in the U20 World Championship with the Slovenian national team. Jasa Jenko is ready for a second AHL season at league’s runner-up too, after he collected 13 goals and 13 assists in the past campaign.

Patrick Kittinger moves from Kitzbühel to Zell am See
After one season at AHL rival Kitzbühel, Patrick Kittinger moved to EK Zeller Eisbären for the upcoming campaign. For the Tyroleans, Kittinger scored ten goals and eleven assists.

Captain Ansoldi continues at HC Meran/o
Luca Ansoldi adds another season to his impressive career, as the 40-year-old forward continues with HC Meran/o in the upcoming AHL campaign, being captain for the fifth consecutive season for the eagles. Ansoldi scored 39 (16G|23A) in the past campaign. Further, the South Tyrolean inked Swede Joshua Berger to the roster, after the 24-year-old forward posted 17 goals and 15 assists for Alleghe Hockey.
