Slovenian Ales Music returns after one year playing for Fehervar AV19 in the Erste Bank Eishockey League to HK SZ Olimpija. Prior, the 36-year old forward has spent his whole career in Ljubljana. Music adds much experience to the team, he played 517 games in Austrias highest League, scoring 245 points. Besides, he has been a key-player in the Slovenian national team in the last ten years as well.

Youngster Ziga Urukalo will continue to defend for HDD SIJ Acroni Jesenice in the upcoming season as well. The 19-year old Slovenian played his first, complete Alps Hockey League season 2017/18, scoring eight points (1G/7A) out of 33 games. Besides, he earned his first Slovenian title with the „Red Steelers“ 2018.

Omicioli went from Cortina to Milano
Headcoach Drew Omicioli is leaving Sportivi Ghiaccio Cortina Hafro after two years. The Italo-American will be the new Head Coach of Hockey Milano Rossoblu.

Contract extensions in Wipptal
Tobias Kofler, Matthias Mantinger (both ITA) and Jure Sotlar (SLO) will go for goals and points for the Wipptal Broncos Weihenstephan in the upcoming season as well. All three forwards have been key-players in the team last season: 24-year old Sotlar has been the topscorer of the team, he had 60 points (22G/38A, Plus-Minus: +20) out of 44 Alps Hockey League games. Besides, 22-year old Mantinger scored 27 points (16G/11A) out of 43 matches last season and 25-year old Kofler netted 13 points (7G/6A) out of 34 games.

Feldner in New York
Red Bull Hockey Juniors forward Nico Feldner is practicing at the juniors trainings camp of the New York Islanders in the USA this week.
