As in the previous season, all teams will play three games against each other in the Regular Season, resulting in 36 games per team. The table is then divided: The top five from the regular season qualify directly for the playoffs and play in the Master Round for the best possible starting position for the postseason. They start with bonus points (4-3-2-1-0) and play each other twice in eight further games.

The teams in sixth to 13th place compete in two groups in the Qualification Round for the remaining three playoff tickets. Here too, bonus points (3-2-1-0) are awarded according to the ranking in the Regular Season. After a round robin, the three best teams per group qualify for the pre-playoffs (best-of-three), in which the last three places for the quarter-finals are determined. From the quarter-finals onwards, the series will be played in best-of-seven mode. The final match schedule will be announced at a later date.
