Allan Mcshane (3.) and Mark Simpson (4.) gave Migross Supermercati Asiago Hockey a comfortable 2-0 advantage after just 227 seconds - both players also scored last time in the overtime win in Vienna. Hydro Fehérvár AV19, which started with the same line-up as last time in the defeat in Feldkirch, had a tough start. In the second period, the Hungarians became much more dangerous, also found three powerplays but failed. A supposed goal was disallowed due to goalie interference. The final period was initially similar: Székesfehérvár put a lot of pressure on but remained unsuccessful and so the runner-up had to concede another goal in the 54th minute by Luke Moncada, who blocked a Gazzola shot in front of the goal and converted the reboudn. Giordano Finoro then put the finishing touches on the game with an empty-netter, securing a shutout for Justin Fazio with 46 saves. The Hungarians also conceded a loss in the third game of their multi-day road trip.
