The Extraordinary General Assembly focussed on the field of participants for the 2025/26 season of the win2day ICE Hockey League, with a decision being taken on the membership of Migross Supermercati Asiago Hockey.

The Italians were accepted into the league as a "member on probation" in June 2022. Since then, the club has not been able to fulfil all outstanding points on the list of obligations, which is why the club's future in the league was discussed at the last general meeting in January 2025. Within the set deadline, the Presidium of the win2day ICE Hockey League decided to initiate a revocation procedure for Asiago's probationary membership on the recommendation of the Legal Commission. On Thursday, the league members approved the revocation of the probationary membership with the necessary two-thirds majority. As the membership will not be converted into a full membership, Asiago will no longer be eligible to participate in the win2day ICE Hockey League and will therefore no longer be part of the league with immediate effect. Asiago's greatest success in its three-year participation was reaching the pre-playoffs (0:2 against Hydro Fehérvár AV19) in their 2022/23 debut season.

Two applications for joining the win2day ICE Hockey League were received by the deadline of Monday, 10 March 2025. With H.C. Asiago 1935 - a new club under the leadership of a consortium - and FTC-TELEKOM BUDAPEST (Ferencváros Budapest), two clubs want to participate in the 2025/26 season, both of which presented themselves at the extraordinary general assembly. Following an economic audit and an infrastructure check for the Budapest location, the league members are to make a decision on the 25/26 field of participants by the end of the current season.
