Migross Supermercati Asiago Hockey also won their third preseason game, beating the team from the Concordia University 8:5 on Wednesday. HC Pustertal, on the other hand, had to admit defeat against EHC Kloten.

In their fifth preseason game, HC Pustertal met the five-time Swiss champions EHC Kloten. The "Wolves" got off to a good start and took the lead in the fifth minute: Alex Petan scored on a rebound after an Akeson shot. But the guests turned the game in their favor with two powerplay goals in the first period. In the middle frame, there were a few penalties on both sides and Rick Schofield managed to equalize while a shorthanded situation. The score was 2:2 going into the second intermission. In the final period, the game could go either way. Kloten had the better end, scoring the third goal in the closing minutes and then adding an empty netter.

After victories over the Hockey Unterland Cavaliers and Rittner Buam, Asiago celebrated its next success on Wednesday. Head coach Tom Barrasso's team defeated the Concordia University side 8:5. After two goals from Matteo Gennaro and two more from Nick Saracino and Stefano Marchetti, the hosts led 4:2 after 40 minutes. In the final period, the spectators saw offensive hockey on both ends with another seven goals. The Canadian university team faces EC-KAC on Sunday.
