Alps Hockey League | 18.12.2021 | Schedule:
Sat, 18.12.2021, 8.30 pm: Migross Supermercati Asiago Hockey – BEMER VEU Feldkirch
Referees: MOSCHEN, PINIE, Da Pian, Fleischmann.
Migross Supermercati Asiago Hockey has been a bit out of step in the past week, as the fifth in the standings lost at AHL newcomer HC Merano/o (2:3) a week ago and remained scoreless for the first time this season (0:4) at SHC Fassa Falcons on Thursday. For the first time, last year's vice-champion thus suffered two defeats in a row. To stop this short negative run, the "Stellati" hope for the return of forward Steven Iacobellis, the 28-year-old forward scored 16 points (6G|10A) until the injury suffered during a Continental Cup game, and on their performance on home ice: There, the Italians are without defeat for nine games and did not have to give up a single point. Against home power Asiago it will probably be difficult for BEMER VEU Feldkirch, especially since the Austrians have won only the first of their nine road games this year. In Asiago, Feldkirch has only managed one win in eight games (5:4 SO on 12.1.2020). Asiago won the first duel of the season with 3:1.
