In the 60th game of the current season, HC TIWAG Innsbruck defeated Olimpija Ljubljana in overtime on Sunday, moving off the bottom of the standings. The Slovenian leaders now sit just one point ahead of EC iDM Wärmepumpen VSV, followed by HCB Südtirol Alperia and HC Falkensteiner Pustertal (both 18 points). After one month, the league is once again extremely competitive. A similar level of parity is currently seen only in Finland’s top league, where the top six are also separated by just three points.

Of the 60 ICE games played so far, 24 ended with only a one-goal difference, and another 10 with just a two-goal margin. This means thrilling finishes and spectacular clashes that keep fans on the edge of their seats in every arena.

Slight Increase in Attendance

In the first four weeks of the season, a total of 174,201 fans have attended ICE League arenas, averaging 2,903 spectators per game, a 1% increase compared to last season. This marks the first time since 2018/19 that over one million fans have attended games in a season.
