Since Sunday, all participants of the Pick and Qualification Round have been determined. Now the battle for the bonus points really picks up speed. In the top match, HCB Südtirol Alperia and EC-KAC duel for the lead in the bet-at-home ICE Hockey League. It is the third-last game of Regular Season Phase 1 for both teams, and the winner of the first championship stage will not only receive the maximum of four bonus points, but also the first CHL ticket. Sky Sport Austria will broadcast the clash between the Dornbirn Bulldogs and Hydro Fehérvár AV19.

  • On the third last matchday of the bet-at-home ICE Hockey League, the iClinic Bratislava Capitals and the Moser Medical Graz99ers are still fighting for the sixth place in the table - and thus the most bonus points for the Qualification Round.
  • The Slovaks are in eighth place, six points trailing to sixth-place Dornbirn.
  • Graze rank in between in seventh place, three points ahead of Bratislava and three points behind Dornbirn.
  • Both teams have always scored in their last two games, with BRC winning in Villach and at home against Innsbruck, while G99 picked up a point against Vienna and surprised with a 3-2 win over Bolzano.
  • G99 won the first two duels of the season (5:4 and 5:3 respectively), BRC prevailed 4:1 in the last meeting.
  • G99 has picked up just six of a possible 18 points away from home in 2021. BRC nine out of 18 at home.
  • BRC player Denis Hudec (5G | 8A) scored twice in each of the last two games. G99 top scorer Anthony Cameranesi also scored a brace in the win over Bolzano, averaging a goal in the last four games.
  • The return of the injured Lukas Bohunicky is expected at the end of the week, Matt Finn and Filip Ahl continue to miss BRC.
  • On the 99ers' side, Dominik Grafenthin and Charles Dodero, who was suspended for two games by DOPS, are missing. A commitment of Michael Latta and Clemens Krainz are questionable.

  • Sky Sport Austria selected the match between Dornbirn Bulldogs and Hydro Fehérvár AV19 for the third last matchday of bet-at-home ICE Hockey League.
  • The Vorarlberg team - they are without a win for four games - missed their chance to reach the pick round after all on Sunday (3:4 @KAC). In the remaining rounds they now want to defend the sixth place to start top seeded into the Qualification Round.
  • DEC has yet to lose five games in a row this season.
  • The Hungarians celebrated their third win in a row on Sunday and still have the possibility to finish the regular season phase one as winners. AVS is currently three points behind leader Bolzano.
  • AVS needs to score in any case to stay in the race for first place and qualification for the Champions Hockey League.
  • DEC has only one win from the last five home games. AVS picked up four wins away from home in the same period, winning seven of their last eight away games. The Hungarians are second in the away standings.
  • The away team has prevailed in each of the previous three season duels.
  • AVS has always won five of its last six appearances in Dornbirn.

  • EC Red Bull Salzburg booked the fifth and for the time being last ticket for the playoffs of the bet-at-home ICE Hockey League with their 4-2 win in Vienna on Sunday. This also means that the five participants in the Pick Round have been determined.
  • Salzburg still has four games to play and thus also the possibility to move up to second place.
  • The Steinbach Black Wings 1992 will definitely finish the first phase of the basic round in last place.
  • The most recent meeting between these two teams was clearly won by RBS with 6:0. Two of the three season duels so far went to Salzburg.
  • Of 114 games against each other so far, RBS has won 63. Of the last 15 games, RBS has won ten, scoring twelve times.
  • RBS leads the ranking in both PP (20.1%) and PK (89.9%).
  • Thomas Raffl, Salzburg's leading scorer, has scored once on average in the last eight games.
  • BWI can avert its 30th defeat of the season with a win.

  • EC GRAND Immo VSV is still fighting for bonus points for the Qualification Round in the home game against spusu Vienna Capitals. It is currently in tenth place and still has the opportunity to advance to eighth place in the remaining rounds.
  • The spusu Vienna Capitals, who are in fourth place, no longer have a chance to climb into the top three. With two games left to play, they are currently seven points behind third-place AVS. Thus, the Caps start the Pick Round without any bonus points.
  • VSV has won all three of their season duels against Vienna so far.
  • Recently there were two clear defeats for the VSV (2:5 and 1:5).
  • Both teams struggle a bit with their performance in overtime: VIC (18.0% | #8) and VSV (14.3% | #10), respectively.

  • The top duel of the third last round in the bet-at-home ICE Hockey League takes place in Bolzano: League leader HCB Südtirol Alperia (76 points) receives with EC-KAC (74) its fiercest competitor in the fight to win the first phase of the regular season and the qualification for the Champions Hockey League.
  • Both teams can achieve victory on their own after 44 rounds (40 games).
  • While HCB lost both away games on the weekend, KAC is without defeat for six games.
  • Away, there were five wins en-suite for the Carinthians last. Since December 1 (1:2 @VSV), the "Rotjacken" have always scored in ten consecutive games, losing only one of them. In the process, they have conceded only one goal per game from the field.
  • Bolzano, meanwhile, is the best home team in the league. Currently, the "Foxes" have gone 121 minutes without conceding a goal at the Palaonda.
