This was the last game before Christmas for the Alps Hockey League. The Fassa recovered Luca Zandonella who has served three days of suspension but Elias Thum was absent. The Fassa took the lead after 11 minutes when the first line packed the first goal with the passage of Martin Gran from behind the net for Diego Iori. The same Iori, shortly after, hit the post. In the second half the game was a concentrate of emotions. Asiago put pressure on Matthew Hewitt. The goalkeepers became absolute protagonists with extraordinary saved (Hewitt and Cloutier). In the third period Asiago tried to close the game. His efforts were rewarded by Alex Gellert's blue shot in diagonally. But the Falcons didn’t give up. Hewitt rejected Asiago's attempts for another goal. On the wings of enthusiasm, the hosts took the new lead with Ivan Lauton with a shot in the scrum at the end of an insistent action. The final of the third period was very exciting.
