EC Red Bull Salzburg has celebrated a 2:1-win over SC Bern (Swiss NLA) in the Champions Hockey League on Wednesday and has earned place 1 in group G as well.

EC Red Bull Salzburg pressured for the lead, but SC Bern netted the first goal: Thomas Rüfenacht took advantage from a bad pass and scored the 1:0 (9.). Each team had their chances then, but the goalies Michalek and Genoni stopped all shots until minute 35. Then, Bobby Raymond netted the 1:1 for the Mozart Citizens with a big shot and in minute 59 Alexander Rauchenwald finished a pass from Dustin Gazley for the final 2:1. Salzburg's goalie Michalek did not allow a second goal from the Swiss team, he stopped the best chances from Jan Mursak and Company. EC Red Bull Salzburg won the game against SC Bern at home (2:1) and earned place 1 in group G as well.
