L'Asiago played with his best formation with all players. The Fassa, however, couldn’t have Hannes Oberrauch, Elias Thum, Karl Ostman and Luca Zandonella. Good start for Asiago that after three minutes took the lead with the dynamic duo Marco Rosa (assist) and Anthony Bardaro (goal). The home team was clearly superior as they looked other goals. The first powerplay of the match allowed Phil Pietroniro to achieve the doubling (15 '). Just after 30 seconds the Asiago made the 3:0 with a slapshot by Fabrizio Pace. In the second half, the history of the game didn’t change: it was always the ' Asiago to make the game. The Fassa's attack was off because it no longer made a goal for 185 minutes in a row while the defense has suffered 24 goals in the last three games.
