The two forwards Jakob Mitsch and Julian Pusnik have extended their expiring contracts for one and two more years respectively in Linz. Jakob Mitsch scored four goals and provided four assists in his 50 appearances in the 2023-24 season, while his colleague Julian Pusnik scored even more often. The 24-year-old was a regular in 51 games and scored six goals, including his first playoff goal, and provided seven assists. Both forwards were thus able to further raise their career bests.

Jakob Mitsch: "I'm very happy that I was able to extend my contract. The whole environment in Linz, the fans, my teammates, I couldn't be happier. I enjoy my work and what I do. If you really enjoy what you do, you can achieve a lot anywhere. I want to improve my performance again and support the team even more."

Julian Pusnik: "It's difficult when you're struggling with injuries. Last year helped me a lot, because it's so nice to be able to play with your colleagues all year round and go through thick and thin together. I'm very happy about the trust the coach placed in me and that I got so much ice time. Also in the special teams. I want to build on that next year."
