"I'm very happy that we were able to find a replacement for Jussi Rynnäs so quickly. We were actually interested in signing Jared in May, but he decided to wait to explore some potential options in North America. Fortunately for us, he recently decided to return to Europe. It was perfect timing for us and Gregor Baumgartner worked quickly to sign him. Jared impressed us last season with his calm, rock-solid play. His style is an excellent fit for Juergen's methods as well as the defensive system we want to play," said Dan Ceman, Head Coach of the Steinbach Black Wings Linz.

"At the goalie position we were forced to react on short notice and since we were committed to a certain type of goalie it was important that we find a replacement who is physically built similar to Jussi. We are glad that he has now decided to join the Black Wings," added Gregor Baumgartner, General Manager of the Black Wings.
