At just 19 years of age, the 182-centimeter tall, 82-kilogram defenseman already has plenty of experience. In the last three seasons, the right-shooter made 66 appearances for the EC-KAC Future Team in the Alps Hockey League and collected seven scorer points (2G / 5A). Lindner also played both games for the Austrian national team at the cancelled U20 World Championship in Edmonton last winter.
In Linz, the next development step should follow in the course of the one-year loan for the red-white-red future share under Head Coach Philipp Lukas. In order to optimally prepare Lindner for his debut in the wind2day ICE Hockey League, he is also eligible to play for the Steinbach Steel Wings.

Head coach and sports director Philipp Lukas on the new addition: "Lorenz is a very ambitious player who has enormous development potential and brings a lot of energy and passion. I am delighted that he has chosen our organization and will be joining us for the upcoming season."

Newcomer Lorenz Lindner: "I am very much looking forward to the new challenge. The organizational structure with the team in the win2day ICE Hockey League and the ambitious farm team in the AHL suits me very well. From the first day of preparation, I'm going to put everything into it and try to recommend myself for as many appearances in the ICE as possible."
