With the signing of Dylan Wells, the Black Wings have added a new cornerstone between the pipes. The 28-year-old will make the move to Europe for the first time after an impressive playoff run in the ECHL. Playing for the Kansas City Mavericks, the Seattle Kraken's ECHL affiliate, Wells came within one win of capturing the Kelly Cup in early June. He played a key role in his team's run to the Finals, posting nine victories, a .928 save percentage and an outstanding 1.85 goals-against average before ultimately falling to the Florida Everblades.

The highlight of Wells' career remains his NHL appearance with the Chicago Blackhawks. During his NHL stint in 2023, he recorded an impressive .923 save percentage. Drafted by the Edmonton Oilers in the seventh round of the 2016 NHL Draft, Wells has spent most of his professional career between the AHL and the ECHL.

Across 82 AHL games and 151 ECHL appearances, the Canadian has compiled winning records in both leagues. He has also consistently elevated his game in the playoffs, producing some of his strongest performances during the most important stage of the season.

Young Italian forward joins Milano
Milano Hockey Club has signed forward Tommaso Madaschi. The 21-year-old Italian has spent his entire career in Switzerland, most recently playing for the GDT Bellinzona Snakes in the Swiss League.
