Five games are scheduled in the bet-at-home ICE Hockey League on Sunday. The spusu Vienna Capitals will host the Steinbach Black Wings Linz. While the Viennese conceded a 1:7 defeat in Villach on Friday, the Black Wings won their first game under new coach Raimo Summanen. Their opponent was league leader HK SZ Olimpija, who will play at the EC Red Bull Salzburg on Sunday. The already twelfth win in a row over the Tesla Orli Znojmo is what the HCB Südtirol Alperia wants to achieve. In addition, the Carinthian teams, EC-KAC and EC GRAND Immo VSV, will face Hydro Fehérvár AV19 and the HC Pustertal. All games will be available either as pay-per-view or free livestream.

After two encounters in Bolzano, in which the "Foxes" kept the upper hand in each case (3:1 & 5:4), it now comes to the first encounter in Znojmo this season. Not only the first two games of this season, but also the last eleven duels were won by the HCB Südtirol Alperia. The final game on Sunday will be played by the HC Pustertal and the EC GRAND Immo VSV. While Villach moved into the Top-6 with a clear 7:1 home win against the spusu Vienna Capitals, Pustertal slipped to the bottom of the table with a 0:2 loss in Graz on Friday. With three goals, Scott Kosmachuk was the man of the match in the clear victory of the "Eagles". The 27-years-old current top goal scorer of the ICE was thus named bet-at-home Top Performer of the 21st round. The duel VSV against PUS took place once so far this season. On September 24th, the league newcomer from Bruneck narrowly prevailed with 3:2 in Villach.
