Bolzano and Graz are not only tied at the top, both won their Sunday games 2:0 - and also delivered the same period results. The league leaders from South Tyrol took the lead in Vienna in the middle period with a shorthander from Matt Bradley. Daniel Mantenuto made sure of the final score in the 48th minute, with goalie Sam Harvey recording his first shutout of the season.

In Graz, Nicolas Wieser got his second league shutout. The 99ers goalie saved all 17 shots in the home game against Graz. Defender Michael Kernberger was responsible for the first goal of the game, scoring from distance in the 26th minute. The Styrians had the game under control for long stretches, with Paul Huber adding the second of the night. The Upper Austrians, who are still without points, remain bottom of the table.

Villach are also still without points after four games. VSV took a quick 2:0 lead in the derby in Klagenfurt, but the home side took control in the second period and equalised through Mursak and Jensen Aabo. The visitors took too many penalties in the third period and were beaten 3:5. The goals for the KAC in the final period were scored by Fraser (2) and From - Chase Pearson was successful for VSV.

Olimpija Ljubljana is the third unbeaten team in the win2day ICE Hockey League. The Slovenians beat Pustertal 2:1 at home on Sunday. After two goalless periods, Blaz Tomazevic and Maris Bicevskis struck twice. The final goal by Matthias Mantinger was not enough for the visitors. The Slovenians are now one point behind the leading duo in third place.

EC Red Bull Salzburg won 3:1 at home against Hydro Fehérvár AV19 and thus celebrated their second victory in their second home game. The reigning champions took the lead in the middle period. Ali Wukovits scored after a perfect feed from Bourke to record his 200th league point. The Red Bulls first increased their lead in the evenly-balanced final period with a fine Murphy goal, but Fehérvár immediately pulled one back. Robertson finally decided the game in the 52nd minute.

Asiago secured their first point in Innsbruck, but more was possible for the Italians after leading 2:0. However, a brace from Patrick Grasso brought the hosts back into the game. After a goalless overtime, Valentini and Rassell scored in the shootout to secure the Tyroleans' second win of the season.
