Not as originally planned in the STEFFL Arena, but in the Linz AG Eisarena the PULS 24 live match between the Steinbach Black Wings Linz and the spusu Vienna Capitals will take place. A technical problem with the ice system in the STEFFL Arena made the planned staging of the match in Vienna impossible. For both teams it is the only game this week. Most recently, both teams were victorious. The Black Wings already have a winning streak of five games. With four points behind table leader Bolzano, the Black Wings are currently in second place. The Capitals, who won the last two games, are in ninth place. For the Capitals, the game in Linz will be only the second away game this season. They lost 1:2 in Salzburg at the start of the season and have won all of their last three matches in Linz. In total, VIC won the last five games with the Upper Austrians. There will be a reunion with numerous former teammates for Rafael Rotter on Sunday. The 35-year-old wore the jersey of the Black Wings last season (18A / 2G in 38 games). With Shawn St-Amant, a player returns to the squad at Linz. Goaltender Rasmus Tirronen continues to miss due to injury.
