Bolzano and MAC win on Sunday

In the European Women’s Hockey League, two games were played on Sunday. The EVB Eagles South Tyrol celebrated their second overtime victory within 24 hours. MAC Budapest also won their second clash with Tauron Metropolia Silesia.

The third-placed EVB Eagles South Tyrol took the lead in a turbulent game against DEC Salzburg Eagles thanks to a brace from Kylie Aquaro. A hat trick by Gabrielle Davidson temporarily turned the game in favor of the visitors, who extended their lead to 4–2. Two goals from Sara Kaneppele forced overtime, where Aquaro scored her third goal to seal the home win.

MAC Budapest and Tauron Metropolia Silesia faced each other for the second time in 24 hours, with the Hungarians once again emerging victorious. MAC led 3–0 by the 14th minute, a scoreline that remained until the third period. In the end, MAC celebrated a clear 6–1 win, with Riley Grimley scoring twice. The hosts climbed to fourth place with this victory.
