Following their overtime win in Innsbruck, Fehérvár continued their road trip in Bolzano. The opening period was evenly balanced, with both sides creating chances but failing to find the net. In the middle frame, the fans again had to wait for goals, even though the hosts increasingly took control of the game. In the final period, Fehérvár netminder Dominik Horváth first denied a goal with a spectacular save, but in the 46th minute, Enrico Miglioranzi broke the deadlock with a shot into the far corner. It was his first league goal in over eighteen months and the start of Bolzano’s scoring display. Shortly after, Brett Pollock added the second, before Cole Schneider sealed the win in the 52nd minute. HCB goaltender Sam Harvey recorded his first shutout of the season, moving HCB Südtirol Alperia up to second place in the standings.
