HCB Südtirol Alperia celebrated a clear 4:0 preseason victory at AHL club HC Meran/o Pircher on Wednesday. FTC-Telekom was beaten by the team from the University of Saskatchewan.

HCB Südtirol Alperia played at AHL club HC Meran/o Pircher. The team from Bolzano set the course for victory in the first period: Brett Pollock scored two goals within 16 seconds, Dylan DiPerna then made it 3:0. In the middle period, Shane Gersich increased the score to 4:0 on the power play, and it stayed that way until the final buzzer. The Foxes are back in CHL action on Friday and Sunday.

FTC-Telekom were beaten by the Canadian team from the University of Saskatchewan. The Hungarians went into the first break with a 1:0 lead after a goal from Rasmus Bengtsson. The visitors turned the game in their favour in the middle period and ultimately celebrated a 5:2 victory. Gergely Mattyasovszky scored the second goal for the ICE representative. For Budapest it was the last preseason game before they start their premiere season in the win2day ICE Hockey League.
