Christian Thomas moved to Bolzano at the end of August 2022.. In addition to 29 goals, the Canadian also recorded 16 assists in his debut season with the HCB. Thus, Thomas scored remarkable 45 points from 67 games.

"Last season was fantastic," Thomas explains, "playing in Bolzano is special in every way and I'm happy to be able to play in front of these fans for another year: they have always helped and supported us and it's also thanks to them that we've come so far. Our regular season with the first place was excellent, then in the playoffs there were some ups and downs: losing game seven hurts a lot, but we want to try again this year. I am confident that we can make it to the end and achieve the goal."

Graz signs defender
The 35-year-old Craig Schira spent the last eight years, with the exception of a short guest appearance in Mannheim, in the highest Swedish league. In the 2018/2019 season, Schira wore the "C" on his chest at Rögle. "I asked some former Graz players about the 99ers and heard only good things about the organization. There were conversations with the coaches afterwards and they gave me a first impression of what they expect from us as a team. We have a young team and I want to try to be a leader in the dressing room and pass on my experience," said the new signing.
