EC-KAC also won their second game of the season. The Klagenfurt side celebrated a 3–2 home win against HC Falkensteiner Pustertal. After a goalless first period, the Red Jackets took the lead in the middle period when an HCP defenseman inadvertently deflected the puck into his own net. Goals from Tobias Sablattnig and Matt Fraser in the third period appeared to put the game beyond doubt. However, the South Tyroleans pulled to within one goal once again. KAC defended their narrow lead and thus also retained top spot in the standings.

HCB Südtirol Alperia also celebrated a perfect start to the season. On Sunday, Bolzano defeated EC Red Bull Salzburg 6–3. After the hosts took an early lead, the visitors turned the game around in their favor in the opening period. In the middle period, however, the home side decided the game with four consecutive goals. Three minutes before the final buzzer, Turner Elson scored his second goal of the evening to make it 6–3.

Milano Hockey Club also celebrated their second win within 48 hours with a 4–0 away victory against Steinbach Black Wings Linz. Goaltender Jake Smith shone with 30 saves and his first shutout in a Milano jersey. The Italians scored three goals on the power play, two of them through Blake McLaughlin. The visitors impressed with their good organization.
