Graz pulled away in the third period in Villach, while Pustertal once again came from behind to defeat Salzburg.

In the final frame, the visitors made their chances count: Paul Huber and Tim Harnisch struck in quick succession to make it 2–0, followed by Josh Currie’s 3–0 goal. Maximilian Rebernig cut the deficit to 1–3 late in the game, but Kevin Roy added an empty-netter, and Jakob Lippitsch sealed Graz’s 5–1 road win. The 99ers now lead the best-of-seven series 2–0.
HC Falkensteiner Pustertal – EC Red Bull Salzburg 2–1 (1–1, 1–0, 0–0)Pustertal extended their series lead to 2–0 with another strong performance on home ice. In a balanced first period, Travis St. Denis opened the scoring for Salzburg before Henry Bowlby equalized shorthanded. Early in the second period, Daniel Glira gave the Wolves a 2–1 lead. From then on, the Red Bulls carried much of the play but couldn’t find a way past goaltender Edward Pasquale, who stood tall under heavy pressure to secure the win.
Olimpija Ljubljana – HCB Südtirol Alperia 1–2 (1–0, 0–1, 0–1)Bolzano edged Olimpija Ljubljana 2–1 to even the series at 1–1. The hosts went ahead in the opening frame through Zach Boychuk, but Brad McClure tied the game from close range in the middle period. In the third, Max Gildon netted the game-winner for HCB, who relied on disciplined defense and outstanding goaltending from Sam Harvey, making 43 saves to backstop the victory.

During the game between Pustertal and Salzburg, there was a check late in the second period that was initially assessed as a 5‑minute major penalty plus game misconduct. After video review, the decision was overturned, as the hit was deemed legal and clean. The Situation Room supported this decision.

In the game between Ljubljana and Bolzano, a situation occurred where a 5‑minute major penalty and game misconduct for checking to the head and neck area was initially called on the ice. Following video review, the penalty was reduced to a minor penalty – a decision that was also confirmed by the Situation Room. The HCB player had changed his body position and extended himself shortly before the collision, there was only minimal contact with the head.
