In eleven home games, HCB Südtirol Alperia had to admit defeat only once. On November 19, the Foxes lost 3:5 against the spusu Vienna Capitals. Just three weeks later, the South Tyroleans managed to take revenge. However, the guests from Vienna got off to the better start. Lukas Piff put his team in the lead after just over a minute. The Foxes turned the match around still in the first period. Until the 29th minute, the home side ignited the turbo. Caps goalkeeper Stefan Steen, who was preferred to Bernhard Starkbaum, had to grab five times behind him in the first half of the match. The South Tyroleans prevailed in the end with 6:2 - six different HCB-cracks signed in the scorers' list. For the Viennese, this was already the third defeat in a row - thus their longest negative streak this season from beginning of November happend again. The gap to the top 6 is still three points. Bolzano, meanwhile, drew level on points with HC TIWAG Innsbruck again and, thanks to the better goal difference, can smile from the top of the table.

Neo-record player Dominique Heinrich provides for decision in Bruneck

Today, Tuesday, EC Red Bull Salzburg defender Dominique Heinrich passed Matthias Trattnig with his 769th appearance, becoming the Red Bulls' sole record player. But that was not enough. Promptly in his anniversary game Dominique Heinrich decided the match against HC Pustertal in overtime. First, the fans in the Intercable Arena had to wait a long time for the first goal. Then, in the 26th minute, things got loud when Stefan Spinell put his team in the lead with his second goal of the season. The lead didn't last long though, just under a minute and a half later Benjamin Nissner put the score at 1-1 after a beautifully played breakaway. This was followed by an even longer scoring drought than at the start of the game, in which the goalies on both sides excelled, before Dominique Heinrich perfected his record game with the game-winning goal in overtime. In the standings, Salzburg is three points behind the Tyrolean leading duo, but have played one game less. Pustertal, meanwhile, claimed its first point under neo-head coach Tomek Valtonen.
