Tommy Purdeller gave HC Pustertal the lead in Szekesfehérvár with his first of two goals after just 16 seconds. The visitors proved to be extremely efficient that evening, with Brett Findlay scoring the South Tyroleans' third powerplay goal in the 30th minute to make it 2:5. Shortly before the second period break, Mikael Frycklund's second goal of the game was the decider and Pustertal won 7:2 in the end. While HCP improved to ninth place, Fehérvár had to leave the top of the table.

HCB Südtirol Alperia celebrated a 3:2 overtime victory over Linz to take over the lead in the table. After a goalless first period, Matt Bradley put the home side ahead. After equalising in between, Bolzano took the lead again through Gazley before the second period break. Four minutes before the end of regulation time, Nico Feldner scored to make it 2:2 and the game went into overtime. Brad McClure scored on a penalty shot to decide the game. It was the third win in a row for Bolzano, while the third-placed Upper Austrians were beaten again after five successes.

Clear victories for Graz, Salzburg and Klagenfurt
The fourth-placed Moser Medical Graz99ers celebrated a clear 5:0 victory over the spusu Vienna Capitals on Friday. As the result shows, it was a clear-cut affair for the home side for long stretches. Trevor Gooch and Marcus Vela each scored a brace, goalie Jonas Gunnarsson celebrated his first shutout in the 99ers jersey. It was the Styrians' first home win against the Caps in almost two years. The visitors dropped to tenth place with their third defeat in a row.

EC Red Bull Salzburg won their home game against Olimpija Ljubljana 6:2 and were deserved winners. The home side took the lead in the first period with a brace within 31 seconds. Benjamin Nissner surprised Ljubljana goalie Horak from distance with the second goal. After making it 3:0 after 40 minutes, the visitors also scored twice in the final period, but were never able to jeopardise the Red Bulls' victory in the almost full Salzburg Ice Arena. Salzburg's Luca Auer scored his first league brace.

The KAC came away from the Vorarlberghalle with a 7:1 win - but it didn't look that clear-cut for a long time, with the home side hitting the post three times. Raphael Herburger scored the only goal in the first period and the Red Jackets extended their lead with a brace in the middle period. It then became clear in the third period, with the visitors scoring three goals in less than two minutes. Seven different players got on the scoresheet for the KAC, who moved up to sixth place.

Again many goals in the Innsbruck-Asiago game
HC TIWAG Innsbruck also won their third game of the season against Asiago Hockey, winning 6:5 at home after overtime. The teams fought an open exchange of blows - just like a month ago in Italy. The lead changed several times, with the home side pulling away to 5:3 at the start of the third period. But Asiago equalised again in the final seconds. In overtime, Yushiro Hirano decided the game.
