The HCB Südtirol Alperia took a back-to-back win against the Steinbach Black Wings 1992: After the 3:1 victory past Friday, the South Tyrolean took a 3:0 home-win Thursday night to cheer the 25th win over the Upper Austrians overall. Again, it was all Bolzano, which had control over 60 minutes. The dominating powerplay unit got the „foxes“ on the scoreboard late in the first, thanks to Angelo Miceli. Around halfway through the game Stefano Giliati (35.) doubled up, showing great stick handling wide open one-on-one against David Kickert. Finally a successful rebound of Daniel Frank (58.) rounded off the score and gave Leland Irving his second shutout 20-21.
