Lucas Lessio already drew attention as a junior, drafted by the Phoenix Coyotes in 2011 in the second round as the 56th pick. His dream of playing in the NHL became a reality as early as 2013: he made three appearances for Phoenix, and in three years the forward played a total of 41 games in the world's best league. In 2016 he moved across the pond first to the KHL to Medvescak Zagreb and finished the season in Sweden with Örebro. He remained in the KHL the following year, moving between Dinamo Riga and Kunlun Red Stars. In 82 games in the highest European league, he scored 20 goals and 14 assists. In the 2018/19 season he was first signed in Finland with IFK Helsinki (7 goals and 5 assist in 21 appearances), where Bolzano was also one of the opponents in the Champions Hockey League, and then in the Czech Republic in the jersey of Mountfield HK (3 goals and 3 assist in 15 appearances). From 2019 to 2022 he played in the DEL in the jersey of the Grizzlies Wolfsburg and Krefeld Penguins: there he appeared 112 times, scoring 43 goals and 30 assists. He spent the past season in the jersey of EC-KAC in the win2day ICE Hockey League: Lessio was one of the Carinthians' highest-scoring players with 14 goals and 14 assists in the Regular Season and another 4+4 in 10 playoff games.

"I'm looking forward to the new challenge with the Foxes and I'm waiting for the season to start," Lessio explains. "As an opponent last year I got to know Bolzano as a strong and well-coached team: for me they were the toughest games. I was also pleasantly surprised by the enthusiasm of the fans for this traditional club: HCB has a winning mentality and I want to contribute to bring another cup to Bolzano. For me, playing here is special because of my Italian ancestry: after all, my grandparents were all born in Italy and then emigrated to Canada, so Italian culture has always been a part of my life. I can't wait to be part of the city and the team, to learn the language and the Italian culture, and of course, to compete for the title."

Magnabosco stays in Asiago
Marco Magnabosco remains with Migross Supermercati Asiago Hockey. The 27-year-old has always played for his home club, he already made 491 appearances in the jersey of the "Lions" and won several trophies with the Italians: five Italian titles, three Italian Super Cups and two Alps Hockey League championships. The winger finished with 15 points (5G, 10A) from 48 games in his first season in the win2day ICE Hockey League, and now he enters his third campaign as Asiago's team captain. "I've been training hard to be in top physical shape. I think I have the qualities to be a factor in this league. My first goal is to help the team in all areas, both on and off the ice. The second and more personal goal is to contribute more offensively and score more points than last year," Magnabosco says.
