Bolzano wins again

The HCB Alperia Südtirol won the only match on Saturday at the HC Orli Znojmo with 4:2. It was already the sixth win in a row for the South Tyroleans which climbs to fourth place in the league table. Znojmo still occupies the eighth place.

In the starting period the game was very balanced. Bolzano had a few more shots, however, as well as Znojmo they did not score. Two minutes and 31 seconds before the end of the first period then the guests scored. Bolzano took advantage of a two on one situation. Although Stefano Giliati failed to beat HC Orli Znojmo goalkeeper Teemu Tapio Lassila, Sebastien Sylvestre made the 1:0 with a rebound. In the second period the guests were the better team again but the only goal fell only five seconds before the end of the period. In a powerplay it was Sylvestre again who increased to 2:0. Only 26 seconds after the restart Anton Bernard scored the deciding 3:0, before Daniel Frank increased to 4:0 after nine minutes in the final period. In the sequel the Czechs tried everything to come back in the game and could even score two goals. In the league table the Foxes overtake the Liwest Black Wings Linz and occupy the fourth place now. Znojmo is still on eight place. HCB will play again on Sunday. They want to get their seventh consecutive win at the spusu Vienna Capitals.
