HCB Südtirol Alperia initially had to recover from an early deficit in their home game against Olimpija. The Slovenians took a 2–0 lead into the first intermission thanks to goals from Bericic and Pance. However, the hosts turned the game around within five minutes in the middle frame as Schneider, McClure, and Bradley made it 3–2. McClure struck again early in the final period to seal the win. Bolzano celebrated their sixth consecutive victory, while Olimpija dropped from first place after suffering their second straight defeat.

Steinbach Black Wings Linz snapped their five-game losing streak with a home victory over EC Red Bull Salzburg. In an intense and balanced matchup, Travis St. Denis opened the scoring for the visitors in the first period before Brian Lebler equalized in the second. In the final frame, Logan Roe gave Linz the lead, but Benjamin Nissner tied it at 2–2. In overtime, Travis Barron scored the decisive goal just 50 seconds before the end. For third-placed Salzburg, it marked their second consecutive loss.

Hydro Fehérvár AV19 also returned to winning ways. After three straight defeats, the Hungarians earned a road victory against EC iDM Wärmepumpen VSV. István Bartalis put the visitors ahead early, and Fehérvár led 2–0 after the first period. VSV cut the deficit to 1–2 and later to 2–3, but Kuralt sealed the 4–2 away win with a power-play goal three and a half minutes before the end.

EC-KAC dominated the opening period against FTC-Telekom and quickly took a 2–0 lead through Simeon Schwinger and Luka Gomboc. In the second period, Klagenfurt missed several chances to put the game away. After the second intermission, the visitors from Budapest gained momentum. Jussi Tammela capitalized on a defensive lapse to make it 2–1 and then tied the game again with a wraparound late in regulation. Just as the game seemed headed for overtime, Petersen struck with a quick wraparound to secure the win.

Moser Medical Graz99ers finished their road trip successfully. Just one day after an overtime loss in Innsbruck, the Styrians prevailed in overtime against Pioneers Vorarlberg. Collins opened the scoring for the visitors, and Burke tied the game in the second period with a top-corner shot. The hosts, bolstered by key saves from goalie Caffi, turned the game around in the final period. Ganahl equalized at 2–2 in the 49th minute, and in overtime, Haudum scored the game-winner after only 18 seconds.
