Following their 12–0 win against Gherdëina, Bozen faced another Alps Hockey League opponent in Asiago. Gazley gave the Foxes an early lead at the Maccani Ice Arena while short-handed. The Team of new head coach Antti Karhula went into the first intermission with a 2–0 lead. The win2day ICE Hockey League club extended their advantage to 6–1 in the middle period and ultimately secured a convincing 7–2 victory, with Ratcliffe scoring twice.

Depleted Capitals lose
At the WellCard Trophy in Klagenfurt, the Vienna Capitals, who took to the ice with a thinned-out lineup — five prospects saw extensive ice time and gained valuable experience — fell 1–4 to the University of Saskatchewan Huskies. Gersich scored the equalizer in the first period. On Thursday (7:15 p.m.), the Canadians will face Milano Hockey Club.
