With 76 points (28G / 48A), the 30-years-old Canadian is Point Leader of the AHL. Although the South Tyroleans were already eliminated in the quarterfinals against Jesenice, the left wing will almost certainly be Point Leader by the end of the season.

Brad McGowan of the HC Gherdeina valgardena.it was named MVP of the Alps Hockey League season 2020/21. The 30-years-old Canadian won the vote for the best player of the season for the first time in his second season with the South Tyroleans. In the past season, the left wing was already ranked second. With 76 points, McGowan is Point Leader of the AHL. With 28 goals, he also ranks second in the scoring charts. With Gherdeina, McGowan reached the quarterfinals for the first time this season. In the quarterfinals, however, the team lost with 3:0 against Jesenice. McGowan scored a point in every game of the series.

Miha Logar of HK SZ Olimpija Ljubljana is second in the MVP ranking. The 25-years-old Slovenian is the league's top scoring defenseman with 47 points (12G / 35A). League top scorer Remy Giftopoulos (32 goals) from S.G. Cortina Hafro follows in third place.
