The 19-year-old will join the newcomer of the bet-at-home ICE Hockey League on a loan basis and will return to his team Val-d'Or Foreurs for the start of the Quebec Major Junior Hockey League later on. In the last two seasons he scored more than 40 points each for the Saint John Sea Dogs, before that he played in his youth in the Czech Republic and Sweden. In 2019 the prospect was drafted by current Stanley Cup champion Tampa Bay Lightning.

Čajkovič is about to make its debut for Bratislava already on Saturday, as the Capitals face Salzburg on the road.
