Bregenzerwald and Kitzbühel made important signings

The EC Bregenzerwald relies already for four seasons on the defensive work of Jürgen Fussenegger. The 28 years old will head 2017/18 into his fifths season and has big plans. Also Mario Ebner knows his new employer quite well. The 21 years old defender already played 33 games for Kitzbühel in the course of the cooperation with HC Innsbruck and will now be a fix part of the EC Stadtwerke Kitzbühel.

Jürgen Fussenegger extends for Bregenzerwald
Fussenegger started his career for the Dornbirner Eishockey Club in the second Austrian league. Already 2008 he clinched the champions trophy and repeated this success two years later. Dornbirn made the jump in the Erste Bank Eishockey Liga and Funssengger was one important part of the first league team. In 2013 he started to play at the EC Bregenzerwald – now he already absolved 164 games for his club. With Bregenzerwald Fussenegger clinched his third title. Fussenegger is one of the leading player of team and also ECB umpire Guntram Schedler is a big fan of him “Jürgen is one of the best Austrian Defender of the league and plays with a lot of heart. He is an important part of the ECB and we are happy to have him.”
 
Defender Mario Ebner signs in Kitzbühel
The 21 years old defender already played 33 games for Kitzbühel in the course of the cooperation with HC Innsbruck and will now be a fix part of the EC Stadtwerke Kitzbühel in the Alps Hockey League. With the signature of Mario Ebner, Kitzbühel succeeded to obligate another young player with good experiences. Ebner was part of diverse Austrian youth national teams and played 111 games in the Erste Bank Eishockey Liga for Innsbruck. “The management and the coaches give me full trust. Kitzbühel has a perfect infrastructure for young players like me, to further develop. I expect to get a lot of ice team and I’m ready to take responsibility on and off the ice.”
