Bregenzerwald and Kitzbühel with important signings

The EC Bregenzerwald starts with full “Maximilian-Power” into the new Alps Hockey League season. Not only Maximilian Hohenegg will stay at the EC Bregenzerwald, but also Maximilian Egger from the Red Bull Hockey Juniors will play for Bregenzerwald next season. Also Philip Siutz and Mark Kompain will stay with the team. The EC Kitzbühel extended the contract with Peter Lenes.

The 21 years old Maximilian Hohenegg will play fort he EC Bregenzerwald and the Bulldogs Dornbirn in the coming season. After playing in youth teams of SC Riessersee and HC Innsbruck, Hohenegg celebrated his premiere season at the ECB and scored four goals and made three assists. “Maximilian is a very controlled player. I think his isn’t aware how big his potential is.” thinks Andreas Judex about Hohenegg.
 
Maximilian Egger will join the team of Coach Jussi Tupamäki for the first time. The 19-years old player run through the youth program of Salzburg and Linz. With the U 20 Team Egger became champion of the EBYSL. Last season Egger played 10 games for the Red Bull Hockey Juniors. Now Egger has a contract of loan for Bregenzerwald and Dornbirn and can proof that he is ready for mature hockey.
 
Philip Suitz started his career in the youth teams of Villach and won the bronze medal at the B-World Championship of the U18 team. In the meantime Siutz played in the Swedish division 1. Last season he played 21 games for the ECB and scored one goal and five assists. For Dornbirn Siutz already had 43 games. 
 
Mark Kompain is the son of the KAC legend Gert “Mugi” Kmpain. Kompain came last season to the ECB, but only played 15 games because of his injury. According to Guntram Schedler, Kompain is ready to make a big step this season.
 
 
The 31-years old Peter Lenes could be a very important puzzle piece of Kitzbühel. The US-player with Austrian basics will head into his fourth season at Kitzbühel. With his speed and mobility he very hard to stop for his opponents. In his 89 games for Kitzbühel he scored 122 points. Despite of his shoulder injury he scored 12 goals and 21 assists in the past season.
