In the only Sunday game of the Alps Hockey League, EC Bregenzerwald celebrated a convincing 5–2 home victory over the Hockey Unterland Cavaliers. Despite ongoing roster challenges, Bregenzerwald delivered a focused performance on home ice. After an initially balanced opening phase, Josef Flick and Toivo Laaksonen put the hosts ahead 2–0 late in the first period. In the second frame, the hosts struck again through Ben Grasser, Bernhard Posch, and Julian Zwerger, extending their lead to 5–0 before Unterland goaltender Giovanelli was replaced. In the final period, Bregenzerwald continued to control play but hit the post twice. The visitors managed two late consolation goals by Artur Seniut (power play) and Thomas Galimberti, closing the gap to 5–2. With this victory, ECB tightened their grip on a potential top-five spot.
