EC Bregenzerwald celebrated a commanding 5-1 win over EC Die Adler Stadtwerke Kitzbühel in the only Wednesday game of the Alps Hockey League, leaving the Tyroleans behind them in the standings.

EC Bregenzerwald ended the three-game winning streak of EC Stadtwerke Kitzbühel and left their neighbor in the standings behind them. The hosts got off to a much better start and took a 2-0 lead in the first period. Also in the second period EC Bregenzerwald did not let Kitzbühel come closer. The team from Voralberg finally prevailed 5:1 and conquered the seventh place in the standings. Waltteri Lehtonen put his signature on the game with three goals and one assist.
