Buitenhuis becomes Innsbruck's new netminder

Evan Buitenhuis is the new netminder of HC TIWAG Innsbruck - Die Haie, as the 29-year-old Canadian will form the goalie team of the Tyroleans together with youngster Markus Gratzer in the season 23-24 of the win2day ICE Hockey League.

Further, Migross Supermercati Asiago Hockey has announced the contract extension with forward Bryce Misley, while Brad McClure remains at HCB Südtirol Alperia.

Innsbruck is the third stop in Europe for the Burlington, Canada-born goaltender: nevertheless, he spent most of his career in the North American professional league ECHL. In 21-22 he played for a short time with Storhamar in Norway, in the past campaign the Adler Mannheim signed Buitenhuis as their third goalie. He was not used.

"I am absolutely excited and can hardly wait to come to Tirol. The Sharks are a top address for me to play my first full European season. I want to work with the team to build on last year's great season and help take us deep into the playoffs," said the HCI newcomer.

"Evan has had a great professional career so far. His catch rate has been impressive over the years, almost always over 90 percent. Misley extends in Asiago
Migross Supermercati Asiago Hockey and Bryce Misley have agreed to continue their cooperation. The forward, who moved to Italy from North America last summer, totaled nine goals and 30 assists in 50 games this season.

Brad McClure stays in Bolzano
HCB Südtirol Alperia has confirmed Brad McClure (24G|16A) for the 23-24 season, as the Canadian forward will play his second consecutive campaign at Bolzano.
